CarSteen model CS 4.0: Very light professional controller with extreme utilization of traction current, 4 different pre-settings of the curve possible! This means even more bandwidth for driving a wide variety of slot cars, plus an additional rotary knob (anti-slip), which can be used to minimize the slipping of the wheels in the curves.

Technical specifications:
5 steps, all the same size. The trigger response can be adjusted using profile switches to make the controller softer or more aggressive. The sensitivity can be adjusted from 0.4V to more than 6V. Amperage more than 250A. Output resistance less than 0.008 ohms. The voltage choke can reduce the output voltage by more than 3V, thus reducing the maximum speed. The continuously adjustable current choke increases the output resistance up to 0.25 ohms (<1 foot to 30 feet). Choke can be switched off. Anti-slip rotary knob (throttle) can be switched off Infinitely adjustable brake (0.06 ohms to more than 25 ohms). CS-2 or CS-4?

Both the CS-2 and the CS-4 can be used for 1:32 finished vehicles up to Eurosport and Wingcars. The CS-2 can be used up to Cobalt 12 and I-15 without any problems, but I wouldn't recommend it for G-7. If you want to drive the G-7, you should use the CS-4. The reason is that a G-7 can draw up to 50A, and in this case the CS-2 will get hot (especially when the choke is in use). The CS-4 can handle a lot more heat because it has more transistors (the resistive inductor can handle more than 300A) and it has a larger heat sink. The CS-4 also has the anti-slip knob, which is intended for cars with very powerful engines, but has also proven to be very helpful for sensitive 1:32 finished vehicles, everyone should decide for themselves whether this is required.
